Write for us

Stellar Travel Journal welcomes pitches that bring a clear angle to the sky, spaceflight, distant worlds, navigation or the imagination of space travel. Send proposals through the Contact page and choose Editorial question only for questions about existing coverage.

What makes a strong pitch

Offer a focused subject, the reader's main takeaway and a brief explanation of why the piece belongs here. We value precise, accessible ideas that explain one question well, compare meaningful alternatives, add historical context or help readers notice something they might otherwise miss.

Keep it grounded

A proposal should distinguish established information from interpretation and speculation. Avoid unsupported claims, sweeping promises and pieces that depend on specialist credentials or first-hand access we have not requested. Tell us about any relevant interests or relationships that could shape the proposed work.

How to send it

Use the Contact page, select the editorial option and include a working title, a short outline and any relevant writing samples or links in your message. Please send a proposal rather than a completed article unless a full draft has been requested. A pitch is not a guarantee of publication.
