Stellar Travel Journal

Editorial policy

Stellar Travel Journal aims to make space and sky subjects engaging without blurring fact, uncertainty and imagination. We write for general readers and take care with explanations, context and the limits of what a story can establish.

Accuracy and context

We check factual statements against reliable material appropriate to the subject and make clear when a claim is uncertain, disputed or speculative. We avoid presenting an illustration, analogy or fictional scenario as evidence. When an article needs revision, we update it to improve accuracy or clarity.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for readers, not to promise favourable coverage. Partnerships do not determine our conclusions or give partners control over editorial wording. If a relationship could affect how a piece is understood, we explain it clearly.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error or unclear passage, use the Contact page and choose Correction. Include the article title and describe the issue so it can be reviewed. Substantive corrections are made transparently; wording may also be adjusted for clarity without changing meaning.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid or partner-supported material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, the image or its caption will say so. Illustrations are not presented as documentary photographs.

Our point of view

Space is a journey of ideas, too.

We connect the view from Earth with the human stories and creative questions behind space travel.
